MoversZone - UAE Terms & Conditions

Booking Confirmation & Payment Terms:

We only accept payments via Online Payment through Credit/Debit Card or Bank Transfer and not to hand over cash to the moving crew. Furthermore the payment of this invoice has to be cleared 24 hours prior to the move. If in case the payment is not received before 24 hours MoversZone reserves the right to cancel the move scheduled without any prior notice and MoversZone will not be responsible for any inconvenience on the move day for non-arrival of move team.

Scope of Work

1. Once the payment is cleared, we schedule the move in our system and allocate the available team that best suits the customers move requirements. Upon scheduling the customer receives the booking confirmation emails on their registered email address.

2. Our professional moving team will arrive at your move out location on the appointed day, together with all as per the requirement of packing materials. Our move supervisor will introduce himself and his crew and after an inspection of the goods to be moved, he will set the Packers to work.

3. We will dismantle all the furniture items as per the requirement and we will pack everything and wrap the goods to according to local move standards. Goods packing, by the nature of the move and distance involved, whilst maintaining and maximizing the protection of your goods, we use a combination of carton boxes, cardboard wrapping sheet, blankets and stretch wrap for furniture items.

4. Once the packing is completed, our crew will commence to load the items unto our covered vehicle and transport to your move in location.

5. In the new house, we will unpack and reassemble only the items that we dismantle from the move out location into the move in location. Please note that our scope of work does not include fittings or assembly of any new items that were not transported by our team during the move.

6. The furniture and other items will be placed as per your requirements and will provide you the white goods connection service (if you have opted for our Premium Move Service).

7. Upon completion of the job, we will collect and dispose all unwanted packing debris.

8. Our team also confirms at the end if there is any pending task left or any damage, Please Note: In case of any damage, the customer needs to report the support team immediately on the move day before the move team leaves the customer location in order to qualify for MoversZone complementary insurance policy. Any damage reported afterwards, we will not be responsible for that damage and it cannot be claimed.

The Above Rate Excludes:

1. The Items/Stuff not shown or uploaded or discussed during the survey, unpacking of the personal items. It will be charged separately as per the move requirement. Use of any additional vehicle or trip or the boxes in addition to that stated in the invoice and quotation or any additional helper required in addition to that stated in the invoice and quotation, in order to complete the move. It will be charged separately as per the T&Cs mentioned.

2. Taking the move items by stair in case the elevator is not operational or vacant. It will be charged separately as per the T&Cs mentioned.

3. In case of change in scope of work upon customer requirement, prices may vary as per the move scope. In case of any non-agreement for the price between both parties i.e. MoversZone.com and the relevant customer, the customer might opt to move only the agreed items (as agreed before the move) or MoversZone reserves the right to cancel the move without any obligation to refund the customer.

MoversZone General Terms and Conditions: MoversZone.com is an on-demand relocation platform helping customer manage their move from one location to the other using the MoversZone online platform and through the extensive MoversZone network of partners. These terms and conditions are the standard T&Cs applicable to all MoversZone related services carried out through the use of MoversZone platform and/or but not limited to through the use of the MoversZone partners and affiliates and through any of the contact channels provided and operated through MoversZone.com.

Operational Hours: MoversZone UAE support channel is available all throughout the year and our Move operations are available and operational on Weekend and most public holidays. MoversZone move operations may not be available during the Eid Holidays in UAE. In the event of any bookings during the Eid Holiday(s) it will be communicated prior to ensure smooth move operation.

Booking Timings: MoversZone UAE makes every effort in ensuring that the crew reaches on time as agreed. However, due to traffic conditions there might be a delay of up to 45 minutes to reach your location. We can assure you that your Tasks will be completed as per the scope agreed.

Complementary Damage Protection: Every pre-caution is taken to ensure there are no damages done during any move, painting job and/or during the duration of your furniture and other items stored through any MoversZone partners. In the unlikely event of any such incident in which there is some damage to the furniture items or any other personal belongings. MoversZone offers our Complementary Insurance which gives the customer AED 3/KG (weight of the item damaged). In case a full comprehensive insurance is required, we advise to get the Relocation Insurance from AXA which can be obtained from the following link: https://www.axa.ae/en/personal/products/relocation-insurance

Storage Space Terms: MoversZone provides a Temperature controlled storage which is not an AC Storage, unless otherwise specified in our invoice. MoversZone is not responsible to the Damage of anything stored in the event of any natural disasters including but not limited to fires, storms or any other such incident. In the unlikely event of any damage to the personal belongings stored at our facilities, it is reviewed on case by case basis to ensure a justified resolution.

Additional Truck/Material Requirements: Any of the Moving Jobs which are booked without a survey and/or it is booked online by the customer is based on a standard inventory selected at the time of booking. In the event another truck is required to handle the additional furniture items and/or boxes, AED 400 is chargeable per additional truck and AED 10 per additional box required to complete the job.

Move Related Tasks & Completion Times: MoversZone commits to ensure every task is completed in due time and every effort is made to make the move experience hassle free. Most of the Moves are usually completed within a Day's time except Commercial Moves and/or other large moves, which is specified at the time of the booking for the estimated time of completion of the move. If, however, there is a requirement to complete the move outside the specified times and requires additional trips from the Moving crew it is then chargeable on case by case basis as per the scope of work required.

Handyman Services and Dismantling and Assembly: MoversZone commits to move everything at the customer location as per the agreed terms and work scope. MoversZone will ensure to install everything at your new location which is moved by the MoversZone crew including but not limited to furniture items, curtains and wall mountings. Any new items which are not moved by the MoversZone crew and/or not part of the initial move scope will be chargeable as per the scope of the work required.

Movement of Furniture through Stairs: In the event where the furniture or other move related items are too big to to be moved through the elevator and have to be carried through the stairs, there is an applicable charge of AED 20/Item per floor.

Personal Belongings: MoversZone and any of its employees do not take any responsibility for Cash, Jewelry, Laptops or any such items and we strongly advise the customers not to leave these in any of the moving boxes which are to be carried by the moving crew. If required boxes can be provided in advance to pack these items personally.

Cancellation Policy: In case of cancellation of the move, we are happy to cancel this free of charge as long as the cancellation is done prior to 24 hours of the move date. If the cancellation is done less than 24 hours of the move there is a cancellation charge of AED 300 applicable and if the cancellation is done on the date of the move, MoversZone has the right to charge the total amount of the move.

Give Respect & Get Respect: MoversZone and its team ensure to provide the due respect to its valuable customers and if there is any disrespect shown, please feel free to let us know and the concerned person will be dealt strictly as per company policy. We expect the same from our valuable customers to give respect to our team members who are doing their best to ensure a hassle free move experience for you. If any abuse or disrespect is shown, MoversZone reserves the right to stop/cancel the move immediately and to report the incidence to local authorities.
